Turmeric lattes have had a resurgence of late, offered these days in plenty of urban hippies cafes (what a good thing!).

Turmeric latte mixes are also easy to pick up for home from your local health store or on-trend supermarket. I love how easy these mixes make putting together a golden latte at home. But is it a habit to get into?

Fortunately this centuries old drink recipe is a nutritional fortress of goodness, so it’s no wonder it’s stood the test of time. Turmeric is an excellent anti-inflammatory and is known to lower our blood sugar levels, help our liver’s detoxification, boost our immune system, reduce inflammation, and eases our digestive system.

Certainly all things which our body loves!

The recipe following is a little more involved than adding turmeric mix to a warm cup of almond milk. The simple mix is a good one to have on hand, but when you feel like something next level in goodness be sure to try this one out.

That is to say, just like a Japanese tea ceremony take the time to enjoy the squeeze, stir and shake of your very own Golden Latte.
